This is my first attempt at creating a journal featuring artists, so it may be a bumpy journey. I hope it is worth it! First, I must mention an artist whose work has managed to consistently fascinate me and cause my heart to simmer with jealousies (we've all been there) T-T apterus Apterus captures both the gory and the glamorous with a captivating reality. When I look at these characters, I see real people with unique and not only realistically rendered, but realistically imagined traits that make them more than drawings; it makes them genuine people. I have learned so much already about lighting, backgrounds, and color choice from these
